CYLINDER BLOCKS SET OF 4

The Cylinder Blocks consist of 4 blocks per set, each block with 10 knobbed cylinders :

First Block – progress in height and diameter from small to large.

Second Block – progress in diameter from thin to thick.

Third Block – decreases in height at the same time increase in diameter from tall and thin to short and thick.

Fourth Block ­– increases in height from short to tall with the diameter remaining the same.

The Blocks provide experience in visual discrimination for the time ; at the same time by grasping the knobbed cylinders the child will indirectly develop the three finger grip.
